EastEnders Boss Confirms Return Of Fan Favourites After Cindy Beale Comeback

Following a total of 28 years away from the show, Cindy and Ian Beale recently made their return to EastEnders, and more actors are soon to return to Walford.

Chris Clenshaw, the show’s executive producer, recently revealed that a number of other Walford-based characters will soon be making their way back.

Chris was able to “convince” some well-known actors to reprise their iconic roles, so Albert Square will soon see the return of some familiar faces.

There will be some characters returning in the near future, he told the Daily Star. They will soon be made public. Keep an eye on this.

Following the reappearance of renowned villain Cindy Beale (played by Michelle Collins), he decided to bring back more characters.

Which fan favorites will be returning to the Square? Cindy’s return in June sparked a social media frenzy and increased viewing numbers.

Chris continued, “We have got some new characters coming that are arriving soon,” giving the impression that the year’s end will be eventful.

Fans were thrilled to see a brief comeback from Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Joss) and Fatboy (Ricky Norwood), in addition to Cindy and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Cindy’s storyline included Lauren’s return because she was the first person outside of her family to learn that Lauren was alive.

Although he only made a cameo in a flashback scene, Fatboy also had a role in Cindy’s reenactment.

After Dot’s funeral, when a card bearing the words “Mrs. B, forever in my heart, Arthur x.” was delivered to her house, fans began to speculate that he might still be alive.

Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) and her son Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), who has been at the center of two compelling theories in recent weeks, are another character fans have been pleading to return.
