Charlie Clements played Bradley Branning in EastEnders from 2006 to 2010, but his current life is very different from Walford.
Charlie Clements, who is best known for portraying Bradley Branning on EastEnders, gave up acting to focus on raising his family, and as a result, leads a very different life. For four years, the celebrity starred in the BBC soap opera and received many awards for his work.
Charlie, who is currently 37 years old, made his Walford debut in January 2006 as Bradley, the son of Max (Jake Wood) and Rachel Branning (Suki Smith). The character had a romance with beautician Preeti Choraria (Babita Pohoomull), married Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), and was once kidnapped by Nick Cotton (John Altman) in Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) café.

Bradley passed away while being chased by a policeman after falling from the top of the Queen Victoria pub during a live episode that was shown in February 2010 to commemorate EastEnders’ 25th anniversary. Charlie received Best Exit accolades from the Inside Soap accolades and the British Soap Awards after leaving.
Charlie said, “It’s time to move on and take on some new roles,” after bowing. “I have had the privilege of working with some wonderful people and being given some fantastic storylines,” he stated. “I will always be grateful to EastEnders.”
The London-born celebrity did, however, also acknowledge that considering a life after EastEnders was “scary.” He said, “It takes up so much of your life.” “I suppose for me, it’s all about the auditions. All I want is to acquire a job.

Charlie hung up his hat for three years and went on to play Jake O’Reilly in Casualty (2013) and then had an appearance in an episode of Murdoch Mysteries (2015), a Canadian drama series.
He starred in the Channel 5 drama Henry VIII & His Six Wives the following year, and in 2017 he was chosen to star in the Elizabeth and Her Enemies television documentary.
The former soap star put his acting career on rest during the COVID-19 outbreak to start working as a caterer and then at a garden center.
In an interview for Loose Women, Charlie discussed his career transition, saying, “Acting is my first love and career choice, but at the end of the day, I’m a jobbing actor.” Like everyone else, I have expenses to pay and a family to maintain.

Out of the spotlight, the actor married his longtime partner Rebecca Clatworthy, with whom he had three kids.
Charlie is still an avid athlete, and he maintains an Instagram account devoted to his golfing activities.
He said last year that he intended to pursue a career as a greenkeeper, a person responsible for golf course maintenance.
At the time, she posted a photo of him on social media with the message, “Swapped the chef whites for the greens,” and he was wearing a bright turquoise polo shirt.
