Now that David Wicks has returned to Walford, viewers of EastEnders speculate that he and Cindy Beale will resume their renowned relationship. The pair’s sultry relationship from the 1990s is what many remember most about them, with David abandoning his own half-brother to shock and disgust everyone with their ill-fated romance.
After learning that his daughter Bianca is having mental health issues, David returned to Walford in last night’s episode, which aired on Thursday, October 3. David was surprised to see an inebriated Bianca lying faceup in a heap of trash after being thrown out of The Vic as he climbed out of a cab.
In the episodes airing next week, David will try to mend his relationship with his daughter. But what will he do the first time he sees his ex-girlfriend Cindy since her “death”?
Fans of the soap opera responded to David’s reappearance by sharing their predictions for what would happen next. Many also pondered whether Cindy would head straight for her still attractive ex.
