What impact will the disclosure have on Penny’s future opinion of Harry?
In future EastEnders scenes, Penny Branning will be shocked to learn that Harry Mitchell has betrayed her.
Since Harry’s arrival in the summer, the characters—played by Kitty Castledine and Elijah Holloway, respectively—have become closer.
The two have just joined forces in an attempt to blackmail Penny’s father, Jack (Scott Maslen).
In scenes that have not yet been aired, Jack investigates the case of Harry’s missing girlfriend Shireen using his ties in law enforcement.
Penny cautions Harry, but he insists that she persuade Jack to fire her or he would reveal her role in their scheme against him.
In an effort to gain control, Penny persuades Jack to allow her to meet Felicity, Shireen’s friend, and tries to caution her.
But after hearing Felicity’s version of Shireen’s ordeal, Penny is left feeling completely cold.
Jack and Penny watch as the police later show up to take Harry into custody.
However, Harry and Barney’s mother, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), shows there before he gets in the car.
Determining Penny’s involvement in Harry’s arrest is Nicola’s first task.
Jack demands to know what Penny said to the Mitchells as the strain builds.
In the meantime, Harry reveals some personal realities with Jack and is pursuing Penny after his incarceration.
After her father betrayed her over Chelsea and the club crush, Penny made the decision to blackmail him.
In recent scenes, Jack’s fantasy about blackmail has taken a darker turn.
He is left defenseless when the crisis worsens since he doesn’t know who the criminal is.
By giving Jack instructions to pick up a stolen motor, Harry played with his mind.
Harry threatened to use the damning film to ruin Jack’s career and put him in jail if he didn’t cooperate.
Harry hid nearby and took some pictures while Jack arrived just in time to complete the auto repair.
What will happen at the end of the thrilling plot?
