Ricky has 31,400 followers on X, formerly Twitter, and is most recognized for his role as Stuart Highway in the soap opera.

He frequently tweets about his professional endeavors and personal reflections. However, Ricky made the unexpected announcement that he was leaving the site.

Informing his followers ahead of time of his departure, he wrote: Hey people. I’m leaving X and wiping this account.

“You can still follow me on Instagram if you wish. Huge love, he continued.

Following the seemingly unexpected post, fans were taken aback and rushed to Ricky’s defense in the comments section.

Will miss you, dude,” someone commented.

Another said, “Oh no, hope you’re all good, see you on Instagram,” and concluded with an emoji of a smiling face.

A third admirer wished Ricky success by adding, “Be lucky, Rick.”

Since revealing he was removing X from Instagram, he has not shared anything.

In 2022, Ricky left EastEnders following a “crazy” voyage.

“When I left EastEnders, I went from villain to hero to dad,” he said to Digital Spy.

“Working on a character’s arc for five years was incredible. He acknowledged that leaving him felt strange.

Ricky has thankfully acknowledged that anything is possible and hasn’t ruled out making a comeback to the serial opera in the future.

“He survived. Riding off into the twilight. Regarding his persona, he remarked, “I believe he’s living with Rainie somewhere in the North Circular.”

After leaving Walford, Stuart was free to start again with Rainie (Tanya Franks) and their infant son Roland.

In the past, he overcame several challenging yet uplifting tales, such as being diagnosed with breast cancer and experiencing postpartum depression.

Actor Ricky joined the Apollo Theatre’s West End production of 2:22 A Ghost Story, one year after quitting the soap opera.

In addition, he has been cast as a guest star opposite Saoirse-Monica Jackson from Derry Girls in the Netflix series The Decameron.

In the sitcom Piglets on ITV about police training, Ricky also portrays Sergeant Daz Black.
