Best renowned for playing Sonia Fowler on the venerable BBC soap opera, Natalie Cassidy stated that she is content with “something small,” although she acknowledged that she would enjoy a little luxury.
After nine years of engagement, Natalie Cassidy has disclosed her wedding requirements and the real reason she hasn’t been married.
After being asked why she wasn’t getting married right now, the EastEnders great talked candidly about her future intentions to marry Marc Humphreys in a recent Memory Lane podcast episode.
Although she is OK with “something small,” Natalie clarified that two particular factors were preventing her from doing so. She also stated that she would want to enjoy a little luxury on her special day with the BBC cameraman.

According to Natalie, “You know what? Isn’t it a lot of money? No, let me tell you what it is: budget and time. ‘I’ll simply do something tiny; I don’t need to…’ is the reason behind this.
“I want to be at The Ledbury, but I’ll do it modestly. Well, either I’m a real snob or I want a Michelin-starred lunch.” She continued: “I’ll want the best flowers and I will want a designer suit.”
Best recognized for her role as Sonia Fowler on the classic soap opera, Natalie began dating Marc in 2014 and declared their engagement the following year.

She stated that they “fancy the pants off each other” and would “love to get married” in an interview with OK! in 2023. She acknowledged being “very indecisive” and said she varies between wanting “somewhere really easy” and a big wedding.
“Ten years would be a brilliant time to do it,” the actress said when she would like the joyful day to happen. Ten years of marriage or ten years of engagement.
Eliza and Joanie are Natalie’s two kids. She recently said that Joanie, her youngest, has been watching EastEnders as she is old enough to recognize her famous mother.

She claimed to be a “avid fan” of the program in an interview with Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Spinning Plates podcast, but her daughter ruthlessly admitted that she didn’t like her mother’s role.
“She says, ‘Mummy, Sonia is so boring,'” Natalie remarked. She said, “No, I just don’t like watching you on here,” so I added, “Oh, that’s really nice.” ‘Honestly, I simply don’t like it,’ she remarked.
