The situation in Emmerdale on Wednesday night became extremely awkward when Charity Dingle and Liam Cavanagh sat next to Chloe Harris and Mackenzie Boyd for dinner at Bob Hope’s B&B.
The character of B&B owner Bob Hope, played by Tony Audenshaw, seated two couples who don’t get along at a romantic dinner date in the most recent episode of Emmerdale.
Her ex-boyfriend Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Chloe Ellis (Jessie Elland) were seated next to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and her date Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) at a table.
After learning that Liam’s partner, Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson), was having an illicit relationship with the local doctor behind his back, Bob has grown to dislike Liam.
As a result of Charity’s admission that she had been using him all along, he even made Liam pay for Chloe, Mack, and both his and his own expenses.
During their meals, the tension between the two couples was so intense that it could have been cut with a knife, and Charity was clearly still in love with Mack.
Was this a part of Bob’s plot to harm Liam and exact revenge after months of sleeping with Wendy?
