Mackenzie Boyd of Emmerdale has gotten himself into trouble because he decided to save his ex Charity Dingle from the car accident rather than his girlfriend Chloe Harris.
Fans of Emmerdale have a crazy theory that Lawrence Robb’s character Mackenzie Boyd will start a relationship with an unlikely villager.
The farmer most recently found himself involved in a love triangle with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland).
Mack slept with Charity behind Chloe’s back despite being with the mother of his child, and she found out.
In an unexpected turn of events, the trio then found themselves in a car together and crashed.
To make matters worse, Mack decided to defend his ex rather than the mother of his child.
On Monday, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) were found to be holding hostage Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), who then made a shocking return to the village.
One astute fan, though, has shared a theory about Mack and Aaron on Reddit.
They stated: “Mack was initially supposed to be Aaron’s love interest. He was sarcastic, flirtatious, bisexual, and wild… but for some reason they abandoned the plan.
My theory is that this week is basically a hard reset to write Aaron back into the village, another fan said in agreement with the theory. The fact that Aaron is returning during the same week that the Chloe/Mack/Charity controversy is expected to be resolved is most likely not a coincidence.
Mack and Aaron’s fates may have always been intertwined in the story, unlike the Lydia plot.
The user explained the rationale behind their theory by claiming that Mackenzie’s appearance on the program coincided with Aaron receiving the divorce papers from Robert Sugden (Karl Davies).
Since Aaron’s departure, there have been no indications that he is attracted to men, they continued.
