EXCLUSIVE: Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle, Danny Miller, who is best known for the role, discussed his recent comeback and hinted at a possible permanent stay because he needs to support his family.

As he talks about his return to the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, actor Danny Miller claims that he has a “family that needs feeding.”

The 32-year-old’s return to the show to reprise his role as Aaron Dingle last week astounded the audience. The actor briefly returned to the drama last year during Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary after departing in 2021.

Actor Danny teased that he hopes to stay longer this time when discussing his eagerly awaited comeback at a recent press screening. The celebrity acknowledged that he has a lot more on his plate this time around now that he is a father of two kids.

Speaking openly to the Daily Star and other affiliated media, he said: “I see it completely differently, so it’s almost like a new job for me. I’ve obviously returned a few times, but this time I’m much more grateful for the job.

I’m grateful to be back here, he continued, and since I now have a family to support, it’s a fun way to do that. And it’s obvious that I really want to devote myself to the show by showing them and the audience how much I adore it, how much respect I have for it, and how grateful I am for it because we moved over here and other such things, as well as being right around the corner from them now.

ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! champion Danny also discussed what viewers can anticipate from his character this time around. He said, describing Aaron’s mental state as being one of not wanting to return. Because he was sort of on a self-destructive path, he was more than willing to kill or be killed over in Italy.

Adam is the one who calls Cain to let him know that he’s going to die or that someone else is going to kill him because he’s completely out of control. He has completely lost the plot.

“So this state of mind is very much that he’s very selfish, quite angry and maybe slightly depressed in a sort of way I guess from everything that’s happened and he’s not dealt with the grief very well. So the state of mind is just angry at everybody and he’s just constantly looking for a fight.”
