Since his parents Claudette and Victor moved to the community, Charles Anderson of Emmerdale has had conflict with them.

The Andersons get ready for Victor’s probation officer to visit them at Woodbine in upcoming scenes.
While tensions between him and Victor are present, his son Charles puts on a brave front in front of the family.
Victor bothers Charles by getting excited when the probation officer shows up, and the officer appears to believe everything he says.
Charles finds it upsetting the next day to witness Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) courting Victor in Woodbine.
Charles is persuaded to maintain peace by Rebecca Sarker’s Manpreet Sharma, his love interest.
Victor, though, enjoys teasing Charles and is spending more time with Claudette.
Knowing Victor has re-entered her, Charles is now terrified.
Until Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) realises Manpreet’s jewellery is a family treasure his late adoptive father Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) shouldn’t have given away, he vents his troubles to her in the cafe.
When Jai begs Manpreet to give the object back, she is at a loss on what to do.
Charles is not happy when Claudette begs him to get out of the way for her romantic supper with Victor later in the week.
Jai, who is upset that Charles isn’t on her side, continues to beg Manpreet to give up the jewellery.
Will Charles choose to defend Manpreet in relation to the heirloom?
Since Victor’s return from prison, Charles and Victor on the ITV serial have struggled to come to an agreement.
Will they ever get along, or may things between the two guys simply get worse?
