Colin Hamston has abducted Laurel Thomas, putting her followers in danger, and she has gotten herself into trouble.

Charlotte Bellamy’s character Laurel Thomas from Emmerdale felt bad for allowing Chris Bisson’s Jai Sharma to go to India alone for his father’s death.

When she went to Marshall Hamston’s house to get his passport because she thought the family should follow him, his homophobic father, Colin (Mark Noble), locked her inside.

Without her phone, Laurel was spotted frantically attempting to leave the residence but was unable to do so.

After his son moved out and made the decision to leave the hamlet to live with his aunt, Colin became unstable.

In upcoming episodes, Laurel’s friends and family will grow more worried about her well-being and whereabouts.

Colin will take advantage of their worry by sending texts that appear to show she has relapsed.

Some ITV viewers think Laurel is in danger and might perhaps be killed because it is unknown what Colin has in store for her.

Laurel and Jai’s marriage hasn’t gotten off to the best of starts because shortly after their wedding, they learnt that Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) had passed away.

Jai and Rishi had a falling out over his paternity, but after the latter decided to mend fences, the former expressed hope for his father’s attendance at the wedding and even gave an emotional speech.

Only a few hours later, Jai found Rishi dead after a tragic fall at the foot of the steps.
