Since joining the cast of Emmerdale in 2016, Lydia Dingle has become one of the show’s most adored characters, and viewers particularly like her marriage to Sam Dingle.
Fans of Emmerdale started to worry about Lydia Dingle (played by Karen Blick) on Friday’s episode when her ex Craig Reed (Toby Finn) was able to find her address after recently running into her.
Although Craig pretended to want to hook up with an old buddy, viewers of the ITV soap opera quickly made it obvious they didn’t believe him since they thought Lydia might be in danger.
@Beckie_Miller wrote on Twitter, “I do not trust creepy Craig #Emmerdale.”
Addition from @Bebop76845845: “Not sure about this Craig #Emmerdale.”
“Oh Great-Craig is turning into yet another stalker,” tweeted @Matt528chap. And they didn’t even get the final one with Lloyd and Amelia, aren’t they?

“Craig has a Stalker aura to him. Another person continued, “#Emmerdale,” while @RyanTheSoapking said, “Craig appears fascinated with Lydia (or Jenny, as he knows her by), even though he hasn’t seen her in 33 years. What does he really want? #Emmerdale.”
Craig Lydia’s stalker is #Emmerdale, according to @unsworth1live. At her house, he just shows up. Sam will not be happy.
After she ran into Craig at a job fair earlier in the week and learned they had been childhood sweethearts, he showed up at Lydia’s place.
Craig’s paternity for Lydia’s stillborn son Toby, who was born when the couple were just teenagers, was also made public.

After catching up, Craig surprised Lydia on Friday and informed her that he had obtained her address from her resume at the job fair.
Craig commented, “If you want me to leave, just say,” as he observed Lydia’s surprise at his arrival.
“You are aware of my residence?” He responded, “It was on your CV,” in response to her perplexed question. I am aware of how improper it is.
Laws and data protection are in place. But ever since I last saw you, my thoughts have been all over the place.
Lydia retorted, “I should never have informed you about Toby. It’s my fault, I didn’t think it through.
“All these years, I’ve been wondering what happened to you,” acknowledged Craig.
We were everything to each other, he continued. I stayed awake all night the night you left, hoping you would return.
“I assumed that only a bad event would cause you to let me down in that way… I was concerned you might have been in an accident or worse; I believed you were dead.
Before the two of them had another catch-up, Craig expressed his regret.
Could Craig be plotting anything sinister like viewers think? He might be seeking retaliation for Lydia having let him down all those years ago.
