General Hospital predictions suspect Sonny Corinthos may finally go down after decades of avoiding prosecution. The number of people trying to take the kingpin down is growing rapidly, and he may run out of luck soon on the ABC sudser.
General Hospital: The Odds Stacked against Sonny Corinthos
Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) circle of trust is currently getting less and smaller on GH. First, Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) was turned up to the SEC by his wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), betraying his trust. Even worse, she didn’t tell him the truth.
He later learned that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), a hired assassin, had been sent by his son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to infiltrate his organization and obtain evidence that would implicate him. After a while, they both came to care more about Sonny and wanted to keep him safe.
On General Hospital, there is still betrayal, though. Dex wants to be locked up because he is no longer employed by the gangster and his lover, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), ended their relationship. And just now, he made the offer to assist Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in eliminating him.

Naturally, Anna normally supports Sonny, but she now views him differently in light of Dex’s admission. Naturally, Adam Harrington’s character John “Jagger” Cates returns, and his only goal is to imprison the Don for life.
And soon, on General Hospital, Anna might collaborate with “Jagger” to prosecute him. Additionally, there is the return of Steve Burton’s character Jason Morgan. Sonny’s closest friend and right-hand man has always been Jason.
But now he believes Jason is attempting to murder him. Moreover, he believes Jason shot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), his son. Sonny can therefore trust relatively few individuals. He is unaware, though, that Jason is still making an effort to assist him.
Jason Remains Loyal on GH
Naturally, Jason is reluctant to bring his close friend along to General Hospital. He botched the sniper shot as soon as he discovered Sonny was the intended target. Moreover, he saved Dante’s life rather than shooting him. Actually, he has been away for the past two years attempting to keep Sonny out of jail.
Jason appeared to have been scooped up by “Jagger” as the only reason he did not immediately return to Port Charles after surviving the collapse of the tunnel in Greece. “Stone Cold” was shown numerous RICO infractions by the FBI agent, most of which were probably directed at Sonny.
He might spend twenty years in Pentonville. Thus, Jason consented to finish a mission for “Jagger,” but the task is still unfinished. Jason recently gave Michael an explanation of what has been happening over the last few years on General Hospital.
Additionally, he threatened to ruin his life if he didn’t complete the mission. That’s probably Sonny serving a severe sentence in jail. Thus, Jason is still looking out for himself and has his back. I’m hoping Sonny will discover that soon.
Sonny Lands in Prison on General Hospital?
Sonny might thus end up spending the rest of his days behind bars because everyone is out to get him. For the previous thirty years, he has avoided being charged with anything.
But now that so many are after him, it may be unavoidable that he will fail. And it’s possible that not even Jason can save him. GH is a surprising place. Make sure to keep an eye on the ABC daytime drama to find out if Sonny Corinthos is sent to prison.
