General Hospital spoilers and rumors pose interesting questions-if Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was blackmailed by John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrison) to work for him, why’s he so intent on arresting him?
Jagger’s going all over Port Charles trying to find Jason and put him under arrest-there has to be more to the story!
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan’s Mysterious Mission
Jason related a portion of the event to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but he didn’t identify Jagger as the man in the windowless room—that was FBI headquarters.
Though Jagger was meant to be stationed in San Francisco, California on the West Coast, he used extortion to force Jason to serve as one of his mercenaries in Quantico, Virginia. The Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) is one of the intriguing things the FBI states on its Quantico website.
Is saving a hostage Jason’s enigmatic mission that he must complete or will it destroy him? However, that’s soap opera reality; it has nothing to do with Jagger’s allegation that he had to use extortion to get Jason to accept his assignment.
GH Spoilers: Mr. Big
Older viewers may recall a PCPD police chief named Burt Ramsey (Bob Hastings), who is not the person he seems to be. This plot looks to resemble Mr. Big.
Before it was discovered that Ramsey, also known as Mr. Big, was actually a mobster who had infiltrated the police, he served as the head of police in Port Charles for a long time.
What other reason could there be for him to have Jason on a rooftop, pointing a sniper weapon and a sniper, at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)? Alternatively, Jason might have been a part of the shadowy crime group led by Hamish Hampton (Jeff Gunn), a member of which is a mysteriously deceased guy known only as “Stone.”
However, if that was what Jagger wanted him to do, why is it such a secret and why did he have to use blackmail to get him to do it? Something doesn’t seem right!

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan’s Mission May Be Separate But He Needs The Connections
Given that Jason is a mercenary for Jagger and found someone in need of rescue, there’s always a chance that his goal differs from Jagger’s.
To finish his covert goal, he could require the connections that Jagger is probably giving him and that he gained through their blackmailed employment.
He wouldn’t name the blackmailer or what he needed to do in order to move on from his situation, so he would tell Michael that he was forced into being a mercenary.
Jagger merely wants to arrest Jason since he is attempting to mount his own rescue effort in the middle of his fictitious purpose.
He would think that Jason has turned bad since he’s taking Hamish’s focus away from Sonny, and Jagger is scared that Jason will expose him!
