General Hospital Spoilers: Josslyn Catches Ava And Sonny In Close Moment?

Will the young woman catch the duo in a compromising position and spill the beans to Nina in an act of revenge?

These days, what do Sonny (Maurice Benard), Nina (Cynthia Watros), and Ava (Maura West) from General Hospital have in common? To begin with, they all appear to be on Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) list of persons she detests.

Though Josslyn and Dex (Evan Hofer) were rescuing Ava just a few months prior, and Josslyn did appear to become somewhat more understanding of Ava, Josslyn still harbors resentment towards the owner of the art gallery for her part in Morgan’s (Brian Craig) demise.

Josslyn, on the other hand, has never forgiven Sonny and Nina for the ways in which they both deceived her mother. When Sonny was suffering from memory loss and technically still married to Carly (Laura Wright), Nina not only continued their romance in Nixon Falls, but even after they returned to Port Charles and Sonny realized who he really was, he couldn’t stop loving Nina and finally got married to her. Once Nina was identified as the person who reported Carly and Drew (Cameron Mathison) to the federal government, she was able to penetrate Josslyn’s defenses.

With all of this serving as context for the General Hospital episode that premieres on March 15, Nina visits Dex at his apartment in an attempt to persuade him to deliver a message to Sonny.

Unfortunately for Nina, “Carly Jr.” doesn’t waste any time in demeaning Nina when she discovers Josslyn and Dex there. Following some insults exchanged, Nina makes a remark implying that Dex is hiding something from Josslyn. Naturally, this causes the young lady’s mind to race with all the things her boyfriend hasn’t told her.

It appears that Dex will reveal that Nina saw him leaving Cyrus’ (Jeff Kober) hospital room in the episode that airs on March 18. If he admits that he was there to kill Cyrus on Sonny’s orders, Josslyn is going to be very angry. She understands that Dex had to get his hands filthy in the criminal underground in order to work for Sonny, but she does not see her boyfriend as a murderer—after all, he did not kill Cyrus. As she seeks her mother’s counsel in the episode that premieres on March 19, the discovery looks to be one that will cause major issues for Josslyn and Dex’s relationship.

Plus, Nina and Ava are besties, so Ava hooking up with Nina’s still-husband would be a major issue. And yet, we think that’s an issue that will become realized sooner rather than later.

We believe it’s only a matter of time before Ava and Sonny start entangling. While they may do their best to keep things a secret, considering it’s Port Charles, that’s not likely to remain a secret for long. It only takes one person to catch the duo in a compromising situation. Cue Josslyn.

It’s not difficult to imagine a scene where Josslyn finds the two in a precarious situation at the hospital, the pier, or Ava’s art gallery. If she spots the two, she might think of herself as having the leverage she needs to persuade Sonny to stop pursuing Dex in order to have a peaceful relationship with her partner. In exchange for Ava’s silence, Josslyn might be able to convince her that Dex is not a threat to Sonny.

Given that we’re discussing Carly’s kid, it’s also possible that Jossyln decides to visit Nina after learning of the affair, pulling a classic Carly move. Given what Nina just tried to sabotage her relationship with Dex, Josslyn would undoubtedly be delighted to inform Nina that Sonny is getting close to her best friend.

Even though this is just conjecture right now, we’ll be watching closely because, aside from Steve Burton’s return, the Ava, Sonny, and Nina love triangle is currently the most intriguing plot point.
