Joshua Orpin’s casting announcement on Home and Away has enthralled soap opera viewers.
Joshua, 30, appears in a teaser wherein his new character, Rory, is shown making out with Felicity, played by Home and Away alumna Jacqui Purvis, who is a fan favorite.
Fans have also not wasted any time in speculating that viewers will witness the two’s romance grow in the near future.

Fans enjoyed the actor’s appearance in the Instagram-shared scene, who had a beard and was dressed in board shorts and a tank top.
On the show’s Instagram message board, a fan exclaimed, “He’s as hot AF,” and another said, “I love him already.”
Another person said, “I’m already excited for Flick and Rory.”
In the scenario, Rory, who works as the restaurant manager at Salt in Summer Bay, whistles a wolf at Felicity from the restaurant’s balcony.

Felicity provides her phone number to the ruggedly attractive Rory later in the show.
It comes after rumors that Seven’s beloved soap opera will undergo a significant overhaul first arose earlier this year.
As production is scheduled to begin in about five to six months, keen-eyed fans have already been treated to tantalizing glimpses of the drama.
The renowned soap opera Home and Away’s future has been discussed by the news website Back to the Bay.
The website revealed in May that fresh cast members had been spotted on set recently.

Meanwhile, there have been whispers of a potential departure due to the notable absence of a cherished figure.
Joshua Orpin played ‘bad guy’ Rory, one of the fresh faces.
In March, the actor told The Daily Telegraph that fans should be prepared for some tension to arise in the beach town when he arrives.
He disclosed, “I can say that he is a bit of a bad boy who enters the show and causes some trouble among the Summer Bay locals. He seems like one thing on the surface, but I’ve had a lot of fun exploring a great depth to him.”
Among the many projects Orpin has worked on are Preacher, Love Me, Upright, and the American superhero series Titans.

In other roles, Hailey Pinto is anticipated to play Abigail Fowler, the sister of Tristan Gorey’s Levi Fowler and Stephanie Panozzo’s Eden Fowler.
Jacqui Purvis, who has portrayed Felicity for the past three years, was reportedly last spotted on set in March, according to Back to the Bay.
“It seems like she’s leaving the show or stopped filming because someone told me she’s overseas and I’m not sure when she’ll return,” a fan commented on the website. “I know someone went to Palm Beach today.”
