Leaked images are teasing some of the 2025 storylines as Home and Away draws to a conclusion for another exciting year. If spoilers are your thing, stop reading. Get yourself a cup of coffee and reminisce about the Home and Away plots from previous years, or something similar.
With “blood on someone’s hands” and the future of Harper and Tane’s child uncertain after Harper learns the child has a significant medical problem, the program looks to be ending on a cliffhanger in next week’s feature-length conclusion.

According to TV Week, Tane and Harper will have to make a difficult choice before the birth of their first child together. In the season finale, Harper was taken to the hospital after learning that her unborn child had a lung cyst that could result in foetal heart failure.
Harper is informed that the only way to resolve the problem is by in-utero surgery, but this procedure may result in an early labor. Harper is adamant about not doing anything that could endanger the lives of her unborn child, while Tane and Dana are concerned about Harper’s and the unborn child’s future.
Harne, baby? Tarper, baby?
Nevertheless, if some detectives have visited the Home and Away set and seen Harper (Jessica Redmayne) and Tane (Ethan Browne) filming scenes for the upcoming season, the good news is that Harper is wheeling a stroller, which we presume isn’t merely loaded with Tane’s protein powder.
Fans are even speculating that it might be a female baby since they can see a bow, and one behind-the-scenes photo even shows the couple grinning at what I would venture to believe is a real baby in the stroller.
Despite all of the positive news mentioned above, fans are now worried that Tane and Harper’s time on the show may be coming to an end, or at least for one of them, now that the baby is here.
All good fans of Home and Away are aware that after bringing a baby on board, the majority of the parents leave to live somewhere better. To be fair, this makes sense because Summer Bay is rife with gangs, criminals, love triangles, near-death experiences, and the occasional cult movement.

Ziggy and Dean were the final couple on the show to have a child in early 2023. They quickly left, although they will return for a special episode arc in early 2019.
Since Summer Bay doesn’t appear to have any children anymore, fans are hoping that the baby plotline will continue on the program, though many are now predicting that Tane and Harper might follow suit. One viewer noted, “Everyone who gets pregnant or has a baby on the show leaves not long after.”
“Goodbye, Tane and Harper. In a Facebook fan group, someone wrote, “They never keep babies on the show.” However, the group administrator was optimistic. “Harper still has nearly two years contract left only way she will leave if they break it,” they stated. “I [think] when her contract is up the baby will be about nearly two that is when they leave.”
