Sidney insists on learning of Stevie’s passing. Cash affirms that she is, but since there hasn’t been a documented death, Sidney is dubious. He aims the rifle at Cash once more and tells him to sit down before checking his phone for any updates regarding deaths.

Eden gets home as Cash tries to reason with Sidney. Cash pauses to throw his engrossed captor to the ground. Eden makes a police call.

Rose informs Nelson, in the meantime, that Stevie has passed away. She warns them that there is a media blackout and they should wait to inform people that Stevie has passed away until the family has been informed, as she gets ready to release the team so they may return home to their families.

Rose abruptly had to leave after learning that Cash is the gunman as she concludes a call with Sarge. Upon reaching his location, she apprehends Sidney, who erupts in laughter upon discovering that his target has, in fact, passed away.

In other scenes, Bree is left to comfort her ex-boyfriend at the loss of his new love, while Remi is devastated by Stevie’s passing. He loses it and goes out as he sees her being rolled by in a corpse bag.

The following day, Bree acknowledges to Rose that she doesn’t understand Remi and Nelson. Remi seems frigid when she offers him her support once more, wondering why she bothers since that they’ve split up.

Cash is upset to hear that a social media post caused a mistrial to be declared. Eden tries to calm Cash down while he struggles with remorse and wrath. But before she can finish, a furious Remi storms in to chastise his friend about not saving his lover.

Cash appears to concur, as Eden regretfully informs Rose the next day that he does, in fact, hold himself accountable for Stevie’s death. In the wake of this catastrophe, can Cash and Remi manage to go forward?
