Ada Nicodemou was taken aback when her son showed her how to learn Gen Z slang terms and walked off in humiliation. However, the Home and Away actress had the last laugh when she tried to apply the new vocabulary in a chat with her son.

Ada, 47, and her 12-year-old son Johnas recorded a video in which he gave her an explanation of the meaning of terms from Generation Z, such as “Gyatt,” “Sigma,” “Rizz,” and “No Cap.” Ada assembled a phrase for Johnas after learning the meaning of the terms, leaving her son visibly appalled at his mother’s attempt to appear composed.

After Ada discovered that “Gyatt” meant “big arse,” she was taken aback. Johnas refused to reveal Ada’s “level,” so the Home and Away actress was more than delighted to switch the subject. Ada said, “So I’ve got a lot of rizz?” to which her son immediately shot back, “No!” after realizing that ‘rizz’ was short for charisma.

“I’m going to put it in a sentence,” Ada declared. “Today when I woke up, I felt really rizz. I just had the thought, “I’m going to kill it today at Home and Away!”

Ada repeated the statement, claiming that she found it “really good,” which made Johnas stand up and go. Johnas then slumped to the ground.

Absolute mood.

Well, it seems like we’ve all figured out a very important thing by now: attempting to stay up with Gen Z is pointless. They have their own niche. We’ll tenaciously hold on to the vernacular of our own generation, even though it makes us seem foolish constantly. Let them have their jargon.

Fans still adored Ada’s amusing video with her son, though. And if his theatrical exit is any indication, perhaps he will soon be appearing with her on Home and Away.

One fan sympathized, saying, “My kid said I’m so cringe trying to speak the lingo.” “When I attempted to use them, my oldest simply shot me the same glance. Evidently, people cringe if an elderly person speaks up.” Another individual concurred.

Another person said, “This is so funny 🤣—it’s a whole other language.” “This makes me feel so old lmao 🤣 my son is almost 16 and I’m like wtf did you just say?” a another person posted. “Also don’t get me started on the bruh, absolutely nothing prepares you for that lol.”

“I only know fam and slay 🤣 you certainly keep us laughing,” a supporter commented. “My eight-year-old was beaming broadly as he watched that. Another reader wrote, “Thank you for breaking down the words.”
