Home and Away star breaks silence following shock death on the show – after fans were left devastated by her departure

Fans of Home and Away were devastated on Monday night when Jacqui Purvis’s beloved character Felicity Newman unexpectedly fell in shocking scenes.

The 33-year-old actress has now spoken out about her devastating last episodes, which had her admirers in tears when her character on the serial opera died.

The Australian celebrity, who aspires to be a huge star in Hollywood, shared a heartfelt homage to her fans and the show that gave her fame on Instagram on Tuesday.

“What a life!” I’m grateful to @homeandaway for a fantastic three years. Had a fantastic time,” she commented next to a clip of her antics from behind the scenes.

“A lot of people are missing; this is just a snippet of the love I have for the cast and crew.”

Jacqui continued by expressing her gratitude to her co-star and romantic interest on screen, Tane Parata, the character of Felicity’s ex-husband Ethan Browne.

There are too many people to mention, but Jacqui’s post highlighted @atlas143 [Ethan] above all others for his contribution to this lovely love tale.

And thanks to the fans for welcoming Flick into your homes and for your unwavering support. I sincerely hope she made you as happy as she made me.

‘We will miss you,’ the Home and Away account wrote beside a string of red love hearts, under the tearful video and message.

In response, Ethan wrote: “What a journey indeed!” You breathed life into ‘Tanicity’ and filled the bay with a roar of energy!

I appreciate you giving it to all of us. My friend, you will be greatly missed.

Monday’s episode featured Jacqui’s farewell scenes, in which Felicity’s brother Cash (played by Nicholas Cartwright) painfully decided to remove her life support.

The abrupt collapse of Jacqui’s character Felicity, often known as Flick, in last Monday’s episode of Home and Away stunned audiences last week.

In the heartwarming video, Felicity abruptly collapsed to the ground as her eyesight became foggy amid a tearful chat with her ex-husband Tane.

After being taken to the hospital in severe condition, the character experienced a brain aneurysm, and the ensuing episodes depicted the race to save her life.

Promos at the time, however, made it clear that Felicity would not survive the brain injury that followed, and that actress Jacqui would leave Summer Bay behind.

Jacqui has been a cast member of Channel Seven’s serial program Home and Away for three years. One Instagram user called her “one of the best actresses Home and Away has ever had.”

“She truly deserves to star in big-budget films.” It is quite sad to see Flick go. What a remarkable individual!

Another fan remarked, “This is going to be so gut-wrenching to watch,” and another said, “Haven’t stopped crying, this show will be empty without Flick.”

“Flick was awesome!” exclaimed one. hoping Tane and her would stay together. I also imagined her departure to be a little more dramatic.

Another admirer exclaimed, “Shouldn’t have killed her off,” while a tearful fan exclaimed, “Nooo absolutely loved watching Flick, her energy & sparkle.”

“Jacqui is an incredibly gifted actress who effortlessly makes you feel like a part of the action.” She will be missed. Best wishes for the future to her, a viewer commented.

In agreement, another user wrote: “Ah no, a great character home [sic].” Since the beginning, she has come a long way.

Despite her success in Home and Away, Neighbours, A Lion Returns, and Undertow, Australian actress Jacqui still aspires to be a major motion picture star.

‘I’ve had a wonderful experience on the program,’ the soap opera star said to Yahoo Lifestyle on Tuesday. a few of my greatest years ever.

Nevertheless, I had to decide to go and accept the risk as I was certain that I desired an international career.

“I feel so confident and prepared to take on the international stage because of the show,” the actor said.

Following in the footsteps of former soap opera stars Chris Hemsworth, Isla Fisher, and Samara Weaving, Jacqui plans to take off for Hollywood shortly in the hopes of achieving global recognition.
