The breakdown of Felicity Newman, played by Jacqui Purvis, in shock scenes on Monday night left Home and Away fans distraught.
The 33-year-old actress has now spoken out about her tragic last episodes after leaving fans in tears after her character died on the serial opera.

The Australian celebrity, who aspires to be a Hollywood star, paid a heartfelt homage to her fans and the show that made her famous on Instagram on Tuesday.
“What a life!” We are grateful to @homeandaway for an amazing three years. She commented, “Had an absolute blast,” and included a montage of her pranks behind the scenes.
“A lot of people are missing, so this is just a small sample of how much I love the cast and crew.”
Jacqui continued by expressing her gratitude to Ethan Browne, her co-star and on-screen love interest, who played Felicity’s ex-husband Tane Parata.

Jacqui commented, “I want to thank a lot of people, but especially @atlas143 [Ethan] for helping to create a beautiful love story.”
I also want to thank the fans for their unwavering support and for letting Flick into their homes. I wish she had made you as happy as she made me.
‘We will miss you,’ the Home and Away account wrote as a comment beneath the heartfelt video and message, accompanied by a string of red love hearts.
In response, Ethan wrote: “What a journey indeed!” You gave the bay a thundering energy boost and made “Tanicity” come to life!
We appreciate you sharing it with us all. My friend, you will be greatly missed.
When Felicity’s brother Cash (played by Nicholas Cartwright) tragically decided to turn off her life support, Jacqui’s last moments were broadcast on Monday.
The unexpected collapse of Jacqui’s character Felicity, often known as Flick, in last Monday’s episode of Home and Away surprised viewers.

When Felicity’s eyesight became fuzzy during an emotional talk with her ex-husband Tane, she abruptly fell to the ground, causing admirers to cry in the video.
After suffering a brain aneurysm, the character was taken to the hospital in severe condition, and the subsequent episodes depicted the hasty efforts to save her life.
Promos at the time, however, indicated that Felicity would not live through the resulting brain damage, and that actress Jacqui would leave Summer Bay.
“Flick was awesome!” one person said. I only hoped that she and Tane remained together. I also assumed her departure to be a little more dramatic.

Another fan exclaimed, “Shouldn’t have killed her off,” while another sobbed, “Nooo absolutely loved watching Flick, her energy & sparkle.”
“Jacqui is an extremely gifted and remarkable actress who always makes you feel like you’re a part of the scene.” She will be missed. “Best wishes for her future,” one spectator commented.
In agreement, one commenter added: “Ah no a great character home [sic].” She has come a long way since the beginning.
Despite her success in Home and Away, Neighbours, A Lion Returns, and Undertow, Australian actress Jacqui aspires to be a major star in Hollywood.
