Starring in a new Christmas movie, Tammin Sursok, who is best known for her role as Dani Sutherland in Home and Away, has traded Summer Bay for Hollywood. According to OK, the 41-year-old actress, who departed the well-known Australian serial opera two decades ago, currently appears in the romantic comedy Trivia at St Nicks. She looks quite different from her appearance on Home and Away.

Tammin’s time on Home and Away, where she portrayed Dani Sutherland from 2000 to 2004, will be remembered by fans. She left the program when she was 21 to pursue a career in music and other performing endeavors, but she is now returning to our screens.

During the holidays, Tammin plays Celeste, a professor of astronomy who develops a romantic interest in football team coordinator Max (played by Brant Daugherty). Even though they initially disagree because of his immature behavior, their love quickly blossoms as they compete in a Christmas competition, confirming their indisputable chemistry.

With her long blond hair and her new role, Tammin is hardly recognizable from her Home and Away days. Following her departure from the soap opera, Tammin signed with Sony BMG Music Entertainment, and in May 2005, her solo album, Whatever Will Be, was released.

After relocating from Australia to Los Angeles in 2006, Tammin turned her attention to TV and movies. She played Marjorie in Aquamarine, her first motion picture role.

She was drawn back by her love of American soap operas and was cast as Colleen in the drama series The Young and the Restless. She became even more well-known three years later when she appeared in eight episodes of Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.

She went on to achieve even more success after landing the part of Jenna Marshall in the hugely popular series Pretty Little Liars. Tammin landed movie parts in Husk, Flicka 2, Albino Farm, and Crossing Over.

Before returning to Australia in 2022 to play Montana Marcel in the rival serial opera Neighbours, she most recently portrayed Sarah Corso in Driving By Braille. She returns to the United States for her Christmas role in Trivia at St. Nicks.

Off-screen, Tammin has two daughters with film producer Sean McEwen, whom she married in 2011. The actress frequently leaves her 1.3 million Instagram fans in stitches with her funny videos and cute family pictures.
