Tane Parata of Home and Away is about to become embroiled in a romantic entanglement with Harper Matheson.
Despite not having a romantic relationship, the two characters have agreed to be engaged in the baby’s life and are expecting a child after a one-night affair.

Tane chooses to stay with Harper after she had a recent pregnancy scare in which she experienced bleeding, and he wants to make sure she is okay in new scenes that will run on Monday, November 4, and Friday, November 8.
He assures Harper that he is putting her and the child first, and he and Dana are successful in taking good care of her. Harper makes it apparent that she is not concerned about them being mistaken for a relationship when the sisters talk about Tane after he leaves.
After Harper recovers later in the week, Dana becomes overly protective of her and worries that her sister might interpret Tane’s support too broadly.
She asks Xander to set up the picnic on the beach during his lunch break and talks to Marilyn about organizing a picnic hamper.
But as she gets ready to pay for the hamper, Dana realizes that by giving Tane and Harper “the special couples’ hamper,” she might have misled Marilyn into thinking it might be a romantic hamper.

As expected, when the two protagonists open the basket, they discover food with a love theme. They question if this is a coincidence or if Dana is making a joke. Tane finds the situation amusing, while Harper panics.
Additionally, they discover a baby name book in the hamper. Tane takes advantage of the situation to defuse the tension by making up absurd names and joking that they’re gorgeous.
