Home And Away's Tristan Gorey Addresses Levi Being Caught Out

Star of Home and Away Tristan Gorey has opened up about his character Levi Fowler’s secret affair with Mackenzie Booth being revealed at last.

Despite being secretly married, Levi had a brief affair with Mackenzie after treating her at the hospital after her heart attack. Mac did her hardest to avoid Levi after learning the truth, but they quickly realized they couldn’t resist one other. Mac was terrified to learn the truth.

Unfortunately for them, scenes showing Levi’s sister Eden Fowler learning about the affair will air in the UK in a few months and in Australia this week.

Gorey told TV Week that “Levi has managed to maintain the secret affair with Mackenzie well,” and that Eden is already suspicious after an episode at Salt where Bree Cameron dances suggestively with Levi.

“After the ‘incident’ at Salt, Eden begins to suspect something is bubbling under the surface,” he stated. “Luckily for Levi, it’s Bree she suspects he’s having an affair with – not Mackenzie.”

Even though Levi is able to fool Eden, things worsen for him when Eden chooses to ‘assist’ her brother by inviting his wife, Imogen, to Summer Bay!

Gorey remarked, “With Imogen in the Bay, it will certainly bring its own unique set of challenges to the ‘arrangement’ Mackenzie and Levi have,” emphasizing the necessity for his character to be “quick on his feet!”

Unfortunately for Levi, Eden quickly finds out what has been truly happening, and she is appalled by the revelation. Eden calls her brother a “cheating liar” and points out that he has replicated their father’s childhood actions.

Levi, however, is adamant that things are different in his case and admits that he is truly falling for Mac and that his marriage to Imogen is practically gone.

“Levi’s heart is torn in two when his sister finally finds out about his ‘extracurricular activities’,” Gorey stated. He has two sides to himself: one is proudly in love with Mackenzie, while the other feels unhappy in himself for having committed the same error that broke his family when he was younger.

He is shocked when Eden lashes out at him for what he did to Imogen, having at last gained her trust once more. It appears like history is being replayed.”

Soon after, additional people learn the startling truth, including a furious Felicity Newman; Gorey hinted that there would be suffering ahead for all parties.

“There’s no doubt about it,” he declared. “Juggling the trust of three women he cares deeply about will only end in hurt.”
