Laura Wright Previews Carly And Drew’s Future On GENERAL HOSPITAL

Drew believes it would be best if they ended things now before things worsen since his twin brother is back in the scene and he can’t compete with him in Carly’s eyes. Could Carly and Drew’s relationship truly be over?

When discussing Carly’s emotions, Laura Wright told Soap Opera Digest, “Look, she loves Drew and she wants everything to work out.” “He is good and at ease. He did the right thing, felt safe, and is the greatest man. And now that he’s doing these other things, she finds it a little challenging. She is still fully committed, but she is worried because she is unable to undo the trauma, the things he endured in prison, or his anger.

Carly fell in love with Drew, but things weren’t the same after Nina reported them to the SEC and he was imprisoned for insider trading. After leaving Pentonville, he had a darker side and was determined to exact revenge on Nina. Carly wanted to move on and start over because she had recently lost her mother, but he didn’t seem to be able to do that.

Now that Jason is returned, Carly has reverted to her protective attitude, standing up for her best friend despite all the claims that he was involved in Sonny’s assassination attempts and was the one who shot Dante. He cuts his losses since he knows Carly would always put Jason first, but in all honesty, she has more pressing issues than their breakup.
