Laura Wright Reveals Why Carly And Jason Can’t Be Together On GH

Jason rushed straight to Carly’s when he was in dire need of assistance upon his return to GENERAL HOSPITAL. Don’t expect her and Jason to start a relationship again, especially though she recently broke up with Drew and is now single!

Laura Wright, who plays Carly, told Soap Opera Digest, “I don’t think Jason and Carly are going to be together if Sonny is around.” “You know, I don’t think Jason trusts Carly [with Sonny in the photo]. They need to give it their best and ride into the sunset together, in my opinion, if they are together. They can’t possibly function in the same town as Sonny, in my opinion. They need to be left alone, in my opinion.

The only time Carly and Jason ever talked about getting married was when Sonny was thought to be dead and they married to establish Corinthos as the Five Families’ dominant family. Naturally, it ended the moment they tied the knot and prepared to go to bed together since Sonny returned home. Wright, though, is adamant that Carly has genuine affections for Jason.

“I believe they’re afraid of it because of how strong and protective their love is for one another,” the actress pondered. I can’t speak for him, but I know she is. Let me tell you something interesting: I have a strong feeling that the two years that he has been gone, the years that she was not there, really terrify her.

“Who are you going to be, she’ll ask, when she sees that tattoo sleeve [on his arm]? What took place? Wright went on. She hasn’t asked yet since she says, “I’m not sure if I want to know.” It is my belief that if Carly is unaware of any aspect of Jason’s existence, it could deprive her of their significance. It’s probably “I don’t wanna know.” The idea that you may have loved someone bothers me. I have no interest in learning about your two years of activities or experiences that I was ignorant about. You made a decision; you weren’t abducted or held away from me.That strikes me as interesting. That’s how I feel on the inside, however I’m not sure if they will go there.
