A recent photo of the Home and Away cast went viral, but who might be making their wedding announcement?
After the death of his sister Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis), Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) shocked viewers of Home and Away by calling off his engagement to Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panozzo). The police officer was attempting to protect Eden because “everyone he loves dies,” which wasn’t exactly a rational justification.
Fans were understandably incensed at Cash, but some are left to wonder if the couple will ever get back together. A lot of people are hoping for another wedding in Summer Bay, even though in this little community, weddings are typically associated with either death or calamity.
In a Facebook fan group, a viewer inquired about any signs that the couple might be rekindling their romance. Is there any chance that Cash and Eden will reconcile in the future? Does anyone know of anyone who knows or has seen any filming? They wrote, “It’s unfortunate that they would just end their relationship after everything they’ve been through.
While there isn’t any hard evidence that Eden and Cash are getting back together just yet, an insider who has access to leaked set film said it appears like there will be another Summer Bay wedding.
“All I’ve seen is videos of Cash running multiple times; perhaps he will start running marathons.” They said, “No footage of [the couple] on location since May.”
“I have heard that the location shoot in Southern Highlands, scheduled to air at the end of the year, would feature a low-key wedding. That being said, even if the location shot [took place], its goal is [unknown]. In the event that it was a low-key nuptial, Tane’s desire to legitimize his child with Harper could have been shared by numerous couples.
They continued by saying that producers take care to keep future stories a secret and “aren’t silly.”
The location shot in Southern Highlands that the source is referring to might be connected to the location photo that Summer Bay Art Department head Greg Stone uploaded on social media back in July.
He posted a picture of a script that appeared to be blurry at a potential Southern Highlands residence.
Gary Morrow (Peter Phelps), Cash and Felicity’s foster father, recently returned to Summer Bay for Flick’s funeral; however, a leaked photo indicates he will be back on the soap opera in 2025.
Given that he returned to the city in 2022 to attend Felicity’s wedding to Tane Parata (Ethan Browne), this could be a major spoiler implying that he will return for Cash’s wedding.
With one fan tweeting, “I’m assuming this is Gary coming back for the wedding,” fans went crazy over the spoiler.
A third said, “I hope this means Cash’s wedding will go ahead.”
Another person said, “Thanks for the info, I hope Cash and Eden find their way back [to] each other.”
