After her stepfather, Ed Lee, passed away on March 8, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) was touched by the tribute given to him by the Los Angeles Kings hockey team. (Lee worked as an off-ice official covering their games for over four decades.)
In order to communicate her own emotions, the actress also posted a picture of Lee and her mother Paulette on Instagram. “If we discover a love like this, we are all fortunate,” she wrote. Hold it if you do. Attend to it. I consider myself really fortunate and fortunate to have known this lovely man since I was twelve.
Stafford has a devoted following that expressed their sympathies in the comments sections of her Instagram and X/Twitter posts. She gained these followers during her tenure as Nina on GENERAL HOSPITAL and her years on Y&R. Naturally, her pals and co-stars from both soap operas also extended their condolences.

“Time passes, doesn’t it?” Stafford pondered in a subsequent post. “I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for their affection and sympathy. Every single one of you is stunning. The amount of love I’ve received from each and every one of you here has truly amazed me. the affection of my pals. from several of my former coworkers at GH and my colleagues at Y&R. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I really appreciate it. You have no idea how much that means to me.
Together, we can continue to express our love and support to Stafford and her entire family at this trying time.
