Emmerdale promises the villagers another week of scandal, grief, and difficult choices, with a lot of twists and shocks in store.
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), who is still grieving over Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) treachery, kindly suggests The Woolpack as a possible location for Reuben’s christening.
But Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) mockingly dismisses the idea.
In an effort to make things right, Mackenzie travels to Jacob’s Fold and apologises to Charity. However, since emotions are running high, old memories resurface, and as a result, one thing leads to another, and the two end up having sex.
After their night of passion, the former couple is in shock and confused of what it all means. Mackenzie seeks guidance from Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb), and his older sister cautions him that if Chloe learns what has happened, he risk losing Reuben.
Who will Mack pick as his companion? Where does he actually put his heart?
Charity, meanwhile, dares to hope for a reconciliation with her ex, but will she ultimately suffer another heartbreak?
During the same week, Marlon (Mark Charnock) experiences driving anxiety, and Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) fabricates a new romantic relationship before Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) discovers her crying in a field.

When Rhona (Zoe Henry) has had enough of being pushed in three separate directions, she tells Marlon, Mary, and Paddy to get ready for a fear-facing day while revealing what she has planned for each of them. Paddy is eager to back her, but he and Marlon quickly come to blows.
What exactly does she have planned, though?
