As Stephen Reid sets his sights on Jenny Connor, viewers of Coronation Street may see the beginning of a new relationship for him.

After breaking up with his fiancée Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox), Todd Boyce’s Stephen Reid of Coronation Street appears to be moving on very rapidly.

official soap opera spoilers are revealed The Canadian businessman will be shown by ITV viewers focusing his attention on Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews), who is unaware that he killed her fiance earlier this year.

In scenes that will run the following week, everyone is celebrating at No. 8 as Lily Platt (Brooke Malonie) celebrates her birthday and Max Turner (Paddy Bever) succeeds in his GCSE exams.

Jenny is delighted and accepts Stephen’s invitation to join him at a wine tasting event later that evening as he calls the Rovers.

However, she is less than pleased that their idea didn’t work out when she eventually finds herself at Lily’s birthday celebration.

Can Stephen persuade her to change her mind? Has he lost his only opportunity to be with her?

Stephen has always had a warm place for Jenny, despite being engaged to Elaine, as his fiancee was the first to notice their relationship.

Although this didn’t end their relationship, she later found out that he had faked her life insurance documents in order to profit from the death that he was intending to plot.

Elaine fled Weatherfield to avoid having to face Stephen after deciding to take a vacation from the cobbles.

Now that Elaine is out of the picture, Stephen is expressing his desire to have a love relationship with Jenny.

But she has no idea that Stephen is to blame for the disappearance of her fiance Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost).

She thinks dad left for Canada without her, but the reality is much more terrible because Stephen killed him by accident.

Leo threatened to expose Stephen and report him to the police after realising he was deceiving his family in order to obtain money from his mother.

Leo was forced to fall to his death as a result of Stephen pushing him over the railing during their argument on the factory’s top floor.

He then killed Leo’s father Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin), who had come looking for information about his son’s disappearance, marking the beginning of his murderous rampage in Weatherfield.

Will Jenny fall in love with the murderer of her ex-fiance?
