Stephen Reid of Coronation Street has killed three people since moving back to Weathefield last year, and he may be about to depart again as his crimes come to light.

As serial killer Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) has been seen escaping the cobblestones and making a desperate sprint for the airport, Coronation Street may be in for some explosive scenes in the near future.

Todd Boyce, who plays Stephen, was spotted acting in character while filming on location at an airport. After exiting a taxi, he immediately headed for the ticket counter to make a purchase.

Stephen is anxious and unprepared when he arrives at the airport, indicating that the trip was planned on short notice.

Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost), Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin), and Rufus Donahue (Steve Meo) have all been murdered by Stephen since his arrival last year.

By adding LSD to Carla Connor’s beverages, he also succeeded in terrorising Allison King’s Carla Connor into believing her madness had returned.

Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox), Stephen’s fiancée, was forced to flee the cobblestones for her safety after he almost killed her.

Recent footage and photographs also captured the horrified onlookers as a car rooftop box was pulled from the canal.

The audience will recall that Stephen used his mother’s rooftop box to dispose of Teddy’s body, and that he nearly got caught by Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) and Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).

Tim recently put himself in danger when he threatened Stephen and let it be known that he was closely monitoring him, especially after his mother was injured.

Could Tim be the deciding factor that condemns Stephen to hell for his crimes? He previously let Stephen know that he was watching out for him.

Will Tim try to trick Stephen into confessing to his crimes? Is Stephen’s time to leave the country running out, or is it already too late?

In an interview with The Mirror, Todd recently discussed his character’s perplexity and said: “We are going to see him start taking risks as he gets more desperate.

It would be interesting to observe how he handles the pressure when his life starts to fall apart. He will inevitably begin to make mistakes, which could be his downfall.
