There’s a fresh scandal involving EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and Strictly Come Dancing.
The gifted artist unintentionally generated a “fix” controversy among spectators and admirers.
Everyone’s talking about Strictly star Jamie Borthwick
Jamie, who is well-known to viewers as EastEnders’ Jay Brown, performed to the timeless Elton John song I’m Still Standing on Saturday, October 5, and wore a bright feather boa to dance his way to a top score of 30.
With another quickstep, he follows up his win in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special from the previous year.
But his performance in the tournament has given rise to rumors that the judges are unjustly supporting him to win.
enduring Judge Anton Du Beke was really complimentary. He even implied that Jamie may be the one to take home the rare Glitterball Trophy, given how early in the performance it is.
“You are an incredible dancer, you know that. To tell the truth, I believe you have a good chance of winning the award. You have extraordinary potential,” said Anton.
This sentiment was reaffirmed by Judge Motsi Mabuse. “Yes, Anton, it appears that the Glitterball is fairly near you.”
Host Tess Daly acknowledged the importance of these comments by saying, “Thank you, judges. about the four, two spoke about the Glitterball. That’s significant information.
Viewers react
On social media, though, opinions have been divided. Some viewers have expressed doubts about what they see as a “unfair advantage.”
“The judges mentioning the glitterball after Jamie’s quickstep – the dance that won him the Christmas special last year,” expressed a viewer’s concern on the internet. I’m at a loss as to what may be the coincidence if that one. “What a fix,” commented someone else.
“It seems a little unfair that they gave Jamie the dance this series, especially since he won the Christmas special with a Quickstep,” remarked a third.

Jamie has stayed modest and grounded in the face of all the rumors.
He told Tess, “I appreciate everything they say, but it’s a bit early to be talking about the Glitterball.”
Strictly curse
Outside of the dance floor, Jamie talked about the notorious “Strictly curse,” which is the rumored love relationship that forms between celebrities and their dance partners.
He reassured the public that his relationship with professional dancer Michelle Tsiakkas was not a reason for alarm.
Jamie laughed and said to The Mirror, “Nobody has to worry.” “That whole Strictly curse thing, well, that’s not going to happen here.”
