Christel Khalil has been incredibly quiet about the birth of her second kid, but she is back from her maternity leave and is back to playing Lily on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS.
In a video that she uploaded to Instagram in June 2023, the actress subtly revealed that she was expecting a child. Then, during her baby shower in October, Khalil and her fiancé Sam Restagno announced their impending child. She also announced in February 2024 that her maternity break had over and she had returned to the Y&R set.
Khalil is still keeping her new baby boy off social media, but on March 19, she uploaded a video of her son’s gorgeous nursery that they had decorated, and she revealed that her son’s name is Remy. “Surveyor reveal!” she posted.”Thanks to Babyletto, we are so in love with the tranquil vibes for our baby Remy!”
In the video, set to “So This Is Love” from Cinderella, Khalil opens the door to the nursery and steps inside, panning around to show off the softly-lit cream-colored room, including the Yuzu crib and Yuzu dresser that she loves so much. A flag emblazoned with the letter “R” hangs above the crib and wooden block letters spell out Remy’s name on the bookshelf opposite.
After adjusting the curtains, Khalil picks up the camera again and sits down in the nursery recliner, a glowing smile on her face. Clearly, mother and son are doing just wonderfully and are very happy. And perhaps one day, she’ll share Remy with the world.
